Seller terms
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms apply to businesses that sell on SA Shops, in addition to the Terms of use & sale.
Your shop
- You must be a registered business or a sole trader with a South African bank account.
- Your shop information and products must be accurate. Don't list counterfeit, illegal or dangerous goods.
- SA Shops may refuse, suspend or close a shop that breaks these terms or gets repeated customer complaints.
Orders
- Ship paid orders within the "Ships in" time on your storefront, and always add the courier tracking number.
- Keep your stock up to date so customers can't order items you don't have.
- If you can't fulfil a paid order, cancel it in the Seller centre straight away so the customer can be refunded.
Customer information
You receive customers' names, phone numbers and addresses only to deliver their orders. You may not use them for marketing or share them, as required by POPIA.
Returns
You must honour customers' rights under the Consumer Protection Act and ECTA, and the SA Shops Returns & refunds policy.
Fees and payouts
See Seller fees.
